Movember - Always in Style
The Opportunity
Movember owns November, but what about the rest of the year? Once the mustaches are shaved off, conversations around men’s health tend to disappear too.
We saw an opportunity to keep those conversations going and remind guys to check in on their mental and physical well-being long after the calendar flips.
The Insight
When people see a mustache in November, they instantly think Movember. It’s become a cultural symbol for men’s health. But outside of that one month, it fades into the background.
We realized if we could bring that iconic symbol into everyday spaces during Men's Health Month, we could tap into its power to jog memories, spark conversations, and encourage guys to take action.
The Solution
To bring Men's Health issues back into the spotlight, we wanted to remind people that both the mustache and men’s health are always in style. So we launched "Always In Style," a lighthearted experiential activation for Movember during Men's Health Month.
We placed mustache decals on mirrors across NYC in gyms, barbershops, coffee shops, and coworking spaces, so every time someone looked in the mirror, they’d see a mustache on their face. It was unexpected, funny, and just clever enough to make them stop and think. A nearby QR code linked directly to Movember’s resources, making it easy for people to go from reflection (pun fully intended) to action in seconds. The whole experience added a moment of levity to people’s routines while pushing a message that truly matters.
